The Modular Advantage
(as stated by the leading manufacturer of
modular homes)
|
Main Menu
Let's admit it. The difference between
modular and "stick built" houses is not the design
(today's modular dwellings have outstanding design features), nor
is it the materials used (modern modular dwellings use the
highest quality and brand name materials).
The real difference is to what degree both
systems utilize manufactured components and manufacturing
technology. All "stick built" houses use
manufactured components -- roof or floor trusses, windows, doors,
kitchen cabinets, etc., but, they stop short of maximizing the
advantages of using these components.
Modular housing, on the other hand, does
maximize the advantage of manufacturing technology. This is
the basis for all of the MODULAR ADVANTAGES.
